We are able to estimate production costs from the very first stages of the project and to reiterate the design phases whenever cost reductions are needed, without compromises in terms of quality, reliability and performance.
One of the most important activities at Protech is hardware circuit design. Thanks to many years of experience across every field of application and continuous technical and technological updating, we are able to cover every customer need.

We design from the earliest stages taking into account compliance with European safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards. We can support the customer with CE marking of their equipment, from identifying the relevant standards, to testing at accredited laboratories, up to drafting the technical file.
Our experience spans different architectures and families of CPUs, microcontrollers and DSPs, using a wide range of programming languages, real-time operating systems, tools and integrated development environments. Our skills also include the development of high-level software for Windows and Linux/Unix systems.
Our development team can design the software/firmware architecture for a new product from scratch, or inherit and adapt existing modules according to the customer's specifications, working at every level, from hardware interaction through device drivers to the creation of APIs or SDKs and the development of the complete application.
Firmware and software development at Protech follows very strict quality standards. Every line of code produced is tracked using version control systems (GIT), which always guarantee the ability to identify and recover every software release, even years after a project has closed.

Building prototypes is an important stage of the development process. One or more samples need to be assembled and tested at the end of the design phase in order to fine-tune the project and carry out its final validation.
Prototypes also make it possible to assess a product's manufacturability and apply the necessary optimizations to the product itself and to the production process.
Protech is able to deliver prototypes in very short lead times and in the required quantities, without the customer having to handle it directly.
Protech can meet any need in terms of electronic production, at board, assembly, sub-assembly or full turnkey product level. We manufacture to the highest standards, either in-house or with selected, well-established partners, in small or large batches.
Our expertise includes single- and double-sided PTH and SMD assembly, on conventional PCBs or flexible substrates.
Our team is able to prepare instruction booklets, use and maintenance manuals, and any other type of documentation to be included and supplied with the product.
